May the 4th: Help the Younglings Subreddit Event
submitted by /u/egnardsGood Evening Folks!
As many of you know, I've been on a kindness journey over the past year—trying to walk the Jedi path myself, while also encouraging others in our cantina of a community to aim for higher ground. I’m far from perfect (Master Yoda I am not), but I believe in us - and wanted to organize something fun specifically for the Subreddit this May the 4th.
This event is being run in conjunction with myself; SigSig and the Mod Team; Meathead insists that he is simply our SWGOH Daddy providing crystals as a reward. . .
Together, we see the potential of this subreddit as a training ground for new players - Younglings looking to grow strong with the Force and find joy in SWGOH. After all, the community around a game, like a well-placed Zeta, often makes or breaks the experience,
How it works. . .
- This thread will be stickied at the top of the subreddit for the month of May [so that you have easy access]
- This Link Can be used at any time by members of the Subreddit (and Mod Team) to privately spotlight those who’ve shown wisdom, generosity, or guidance worthy of a Jedi Master. Whether it’s a helpful post or a kind reply, we want to honor those who lift others up.
- At the end of the month several lucky winners will be awarded a crystal prize by Meathead, for their help in keeping this community a positive source of information for new players and veterans alike.
- Meathead has asked us to keep the number and crystals open, based on the response that is seen to this initiative.
What types of posts should be nominated?
- New threads that offer valuable insight to new players in a respectful, constructive way.
- Replies (or reply chains) that explain things clearly and patiently
- Moments of positivity that stand out in community discussions—whether it's support, or helpfulness
In short:
📡 When you see someone using their powers for good,
🚀 take a quick minute and submit the form.
📄 You can fill it out as many times as you like throughout May.May the Force be with you all

Im tired of CG ignoring the seppie teams.
submitted by /u/MismageiusWe have one good sep team with GG and trench doesn't even have a team really so heres some recommendations as there are PLENTY of seppies to choose from. We thought with the battle of naboo raid we'd be getting more seppies but we didnt.
1st would be an obvious addition Riff Tamson seppie officer who played a large part in the attack of underwater worlds.
2nd Durge a bounty hunter with a deep hatred of mandalorians and the galactic republic he became a commander of the seperatist army.
3rd Super strategy droid. A bad choice you would think for Trench as his lead would need non droids but i feel this droid could have a unique that allows it to be in trenchs team with no issues.
4th and lastly a lesser known character from the books is Alto stratus a character with a deep seated hatred for the jedi whos planet aligned with the seperatists to fight the republic.
and of course my favorite droid of all time the commando droid, an assassin droid used for infiltration missions and assassinations. Not an idea for a trench team but could work wonders for a gg team or if made a tank could be a fantastic addition to an aphra team.

This seems broken in a Rey Ezra squad
submitted by /u/time-xenoThis will probably be most impactful against Leia as even if drogan nukes Ezra he will eventually come back stronger than ever
Also that 100% offensive will probably mean Ben with the redeemed omi can fully nuke out UFUs
There’s other possibility that I’m probably not aware of but Rey is likely going be an absolute nightmare for upcoming months

Qimir Kit
submitted by /u/imnon12Since u/SeakingdaKind made an updated template for custom characters, I decided to make a Qimir kit, hopefully y'all enjoy it.
Basic: "Teach Them Pain" (Zeta)
Final Text:
Deal Physical damage to target enemy 5 times. For each Critical Hit, Qimir gains 5% Turn Meter.
This attack has different effects depending on how many Critical Hits Qimir scores:
3 Critical Hits: Inflict Submission on target enemy for 3 turns, which can't be resisted or prevented.
4 Critical Hits: Inflict Ability Block, Speed Down, and Tenacity Down on the target enemy for 2 turns.
5 Critical Hits: Inflict 3 Damage Over Time effects for 2 turns, which can't be resisted.
Qimir gains 1 stack of Whispers for each debuff applied.
Special 1: "You Wanted This" (Cooldown: 2)
Final Text:
Deal Physical damage to all enemies, which can't be evaded, and inflict Healing Immunity on the target enemy for 1 turn.
Reduce the target enemy’s Turn Meter by 40% and inflict Fear for 1 turn, which can't be resisted or copied.
Inflict Locked Submission on all enemies for 1 turn, which can't be resisted or prevented.
Inflict Potency Down on all enemies for 2 turns.
Qimir gains 1 stack of Whispers for each debuff applied.
Special 2: "They See My Face, They All Die" (Cooldown: 5) (Zeta, Omicron)
Final Text:
Can only be used if Qimir has Seen.
Deal Physical damage to target enemy 3 times, which can't be evaded.
Each hit deals +50% damage and ignores Defense.
Each instance deals bonus True Damage equal to 10% of Qimir’s Max Health and inflicts Fear for 1 turn, which can't be resisted or prevented.
Qimir gains 20% Turn Meter, increased to 60% if this ability defeats the enemy.
While in Grand Arena:
Increase bonus True Damage to 30% of Qimir's Max Health.
Qimir gains a bonus turn if this ability defeats an enemy, and its cooldown is reduced by 1.
Leader: "Plagueis’s Apprentice" (Omicron)
Final Text:
If all allies are Sith at the start of battle and there are no Galactic Legend allies:
Qimir takes a bonus turn at the start of battle.
Whenever Qimir applies Fear, he gains 5% Max Health (stacking, max 25%) until the end of battle.
While Qimir is active, Sith allies gain +50% Tenacity and +30% Defense, +20% Max Health and Max Protection, and are inflicted with Tempted until the end of the encounter or until defeated.
Qimir gains +50% Defense per other active Sith ally. If all allies are defeated, Qimir gains +60% Defense instead.
Enemies that damage a Sith ally while inflicted with Submission take True Damage equal to 5% of Qimir’s Max Health (once per turn, can't be evaded).
While in Grand Arena:
Whenever Qimir applies Fear, he gains 10% Max Health (stacking, max 100%) until the end of battle and reduces the cooldown of They See My Face, They All Die by 1.
While Qimir is active, Sith allies gain +100% Tenacity and +50% Defense.
Unique: "Pupil" (Zeta, Omicron)
Final Text:
If all allies are Sith at the start of battle and there are no Galactic Legend allies:
At the start of the encounter, Qimir gains Instant Defeat Immunity until the end of battle or until he gains Seen. Qimir can't be stunned.
At the start of Qimir’s turn, he gains +5% Max Health, Max Protection, and Offense for each Sith ally currently alive (stacking, can't be prevented). Then, those Sith allies lose 25% Max Health, Max Protection, and Offense (stacking, can't be prevented).
Whenever a Sith ally is defeated, Qimir recovers 20% Health and Protection and inflicts Submission on a random enemy, which can't be resisted.
Once per battle, whenever Qimir would be reduced to 1% Health, the weakest Sith ally is instantly defeated and can't be revived. Qimir recovers 50% Health and Protection and gains 50% Turn Meter.
While Qimir is at the following stacks of Whispers, he gains:
15 stacks: +50% Critical Chance and Potency.
30 stacks: +25% Critical Damage and inflicts Ability Block on all units (except himself), which can't be resisted.
65 stacks: Gains Seen until the end of the encounter, which can't be prevented, copied, or dispelled. All Sith allies are instantly defeated (can't be revived), and Qimir gains +25% Max Health and Max Protection for each Sith ally defeated this way. Qimir loses Instant Defeat Immunity.
Otherwise, Qimir gains Seen until the end of the encounter, once all Sith allies are defeated, which can't be prevented, copied, or dispelled.
While in Grand Arena:
If all allies are Sith and there are no Galactic Legend allies:
Qimir does not lose Instant Defeat Immunity when he gains Seen.
Whenever a Sith ally is defeated, Qimir recovers 50% Health and Protection and applies Submission to two random enemies, which can't be resisted.
Once per battle, when Qimir would be reduced to 1% Health, the weakest Sith ally is instantly defeated and can't be revived, Qimir recovers 100% Health and Protection, and gains a bonus turn.
Buffs & Debuffs
Whispers (Stacking Buff):
+2% Critical Damage and +1% Potency per stack (max 65).
Can't be copied, dispelled, or prevented.
Submission (Debuff):
This unit can't target Qimir and has -30% Potency.
Tempted (Debuff):
-75% Offense, can't assist or attack out of turn.
Seen (Buff):
+20% Offense, Critical Damage, Critical Chance and 100 speed.
Takes reduced damage from percent Health effects.

Crimes Against the Republic Era Battle Requirements
-
Unpopular opinion: this team sounded great on paper, but not having an UFU/Maul is a huge downgrade. LV kit needs to be reworked to remove ALL UFU benefits and replac it with Clones.

With Era battles being a thing now, how many crystal marquee packs on average does one have to buy to 7* a new character before being farmable?

Knight fall event
submitted by /u/SskxdoeHow the hell did y’all beat this as free to play. I don’t have stuff maxed out, but every other part of the tier 1 is doable except for Jocasta Nu. The second she starts getting low, triple the amount of protection is given to her and she one shots everyone I have. The second I lose Vader, appo, or the summoned trooper it’s over. Scorch is just a meat shield in it since he can’t do damage and his grenade to add damage over time never works. That’s another thing. She immediately dispels all debuffs. Her cooldown reduction makes no sense. Sometimes it’s one tic and the next it’s 7. And when she takes two turns at random points she immediately gets the gun. I haven’t even made it to the headache y’all have when she throws the gun for AOE. This is just forcing people to pay money for new characters.

Relic characters (discussion)
submitted by /u/That_Hospital208So I am kind of a mid game player, I have like 3 (soon 4) GL:s and I am trying to find a good ground for relicing characters. I do know that it is best to relic characters to required relic level (if they are a requirement for another character). But what about the characters that are not a requirement for something? Is relic level 5 a good ground, because somewhere I feel like I can't relic characters to relic level 7 all the time. I do know that there are expections, as Dart bane for example, that would not benefit from being relic 5, and would need to be at least relic 7, possibly relic 8. But what I am asking is for a general good ground to go after.
Thx for the help! May the force be with you :))

Ezra questions
submitted by /u/TacuChaufaHello guys,
I just got Ezra a couple of days ago and plan to use him with Rey+Ben (won't go for Ahsoka for quite a while), but I have a couple of questions:
Do I still mod him for speed? Or should I make him tanker with maybe HP or DEF mods? I have seen a couple of videos that mention that the speed for Ezra only helps when he is running with the Ahsoka team.
Can I use him with just one of the specials? I was thinking on going for Daring Advance, but I have seen videos that mention Kanans Legacy as first Omi as well.

Datacron materials rollover. Is it better to convert into datacrons now or wait?
submitted by /u/LenoVon4I have a good amount of materials and I would like to upgrade some of the new focused datacrons when they come out. Is it better to convert these into datacrons to let them become the new materials or wait for them to be converted by themselves? Other posts I’ve seen imply that they will become reroll materials instead of binding materials, will converting into datacrons change this? This is counting on them converting to the new binding mats and not the acumen as well

Separatist Era Idea
submitted by /u/RedFiveFighterSeen lots of posts recently on Separatists and how they need some love.
...and I'm here for it!
Here's a brief idea for a Separatists-themed Era that would introduce a new GL, a new ship, a conquest lifter, and 5 marquees to breathe some life into the faction.
GL Dooku (Darth Tyranus), would lead a team consisting of a new version of Asajj (conquest lifter), Jango, Nute, and Geonosian Brood Alpha (for a pre-taunt/summon tank).
Geonosian Queen (marquee tank), would replace GBA and lead the Geos team.
Durge (marquee tank) and Riff (marquee attacker), would join Trench with OG Dooku and Wat.
Commando Droid (marquee attacker), would join GG, STAP, B2, and MagnaGuard for GAC.
Kalani (marquee support), would join GG, Droideka, B2, and MagnaGuard for TW.
Tri Fighter (ship), would be a Malevolence lifter.
What do you all think?
