Gear Recognition Guide For SWGOH Character Image Buttons

Introduction.

This guide provides a simple quick reference guide for the meaning of colors and symbolism on Star Wars Galaxy Of Heroes character image buttons.

As a character gear level rises, each gear level either advances the character image inner circumference band(s) color to the next tier, adds peg markings, or additional circumference band layers. The list below reflects this from lowest to highest gear level for Star Wars Galaxy Of Heroes (SWGOH) characters.

Gear 1: White Tier 1 band with no pegs.
Level 1 Character Gear

Gear 2: Tier 1 Band Color becomes green.
Level 2Character Gear

Gear 3: Tier 1 Green Band adds 2 pegs for a total of 2 pegs.

Gear 4: Tier 1 Band Color becomes blue.
